Track your LPG usage and know when to refill

Requirement: Rigas is a Supram industries brainchild. This IOT product help its customer keep a track of the amount of gas left in the domestic/Commercial gas cylinders.

The scope of the project involved building a software for montoring gas/battery level and issue warning when the levels fall below preset numbers on the mobile apps (Android and iOS).

Solution: Designed and developed a software for online and offline versions of mobile app. Also a web app was build to facilitate the online version and capture of customer information.

Data from the hardware was captured in database using SIM module and Wifi connectivity and later the desired information is displayed on the mobile app.

Offline version of the App involved BLE4.0 and no data is captured in the website

  • The product was awarded by Government of Karnataka for innovation.



Problem Statement: We were working with a Dubai based logistics company to improve the customer satisfaction and enhancing the repeat customer footfalls.

Analysis: our expert team conducted an extensive study on the process and systems to look for areas which can be fine tuned. Following observations were reported

  • Pick up process is not smooth
  • Multiple calls and followups are required to coordinate the pickups.
  • Some customers have expressed concerns on the behaviour of the pickup drivers.
  • No Clarity on the pickup time, status of whats happening after being pickedup, sometimes upto 3 days.
  • Pickup service was recently revamped to engage the bigger customers, and the company is still in the process of tweaking the flow.

Solution: Design and development of the tracking application . The application starts from Enabling the customers to book a pickup schedule and track the shipment till delivery. For the pickup executive, the application provides vital information about the package size, weight, customer location, etc. For the backend executives, the application helps in locating and assigning the pickup trucks/executives. The solution interacts with multiple applications to give precise information on the shipment.

Key Results:

  • Pickup and tracking was moved to online, thus enabling the cusmter with the realtime status of their shipments.
  • Time to pickup and customer wait time was reduced considerably, and customer is well aware of the timelines.
  • Reduced the human intervention by nearly 80%, thus improving the efficiency significantly./li>

Requirement: A 153 years old school had difficulties in managing assignments, administering class tests, declaring results and communicating to parents on the performance. Each class has about 10 sections and each section has 50 students. There were lapses in correction, delay in declaring the results, tracking non performers/ non test takers, etc.



Solution: Designed and developed a Learning management systems that is capable of administrating the tests, declaring results, communicate the performance to parents, generate reports to study the performance, manage a knowledgebase and e-learning.

Key Results:

  • Time to declare results was reduced to 1-3 days as against 7 to 10 days.
  • Use of technology helped the teachers to reuse the existing data efficiently.
  • Absenteeism for test reduced to near 0%.
  • Improved overall efficiency.



Requirement: Our client is a leading advertising and publishing company with global presence. They are venturing into the ondemand media streaming vertical. The biggest challenge is dealing with competition with the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, etc. The need of the hour was finding a way to get inputs about the target audience, kind of media, delivering the right content and personalization of data.

Solution: Bigdata solution was developed to analyse individual user behaviors, such as the videos watched, the catalogs clicked on, the programs scheduled for recording, average video view time, etc. Video recommendation engine architecture was designed to achieve the desired results.

Requirement: Our client is a foodtech startup, in the business of catering and coffee vending services. Their success in coffee vending machines made it a recognizable brand. After the initial success, they deployed vending machines in multiple locations and that proved costly in terms of labour for managing the machines.

Human intervention was required to refill the ingredients when empty, cleaning, calculating number of cups dispenses and raising invoices.

Solution: An IOT solution was proposed, designed and developed starting from the Hardware for the vending machine to web app and mobile apps for tracking various ingredients and status of the machines. Hardware design involved many sensors like IR, Ultrasonic, load cells and temperature sensors to capture data from machines. The Web app also tracks the inventory and sending invoices to clients at the click of a button.

The design of the vending machine was tweaked to accomodate the changes, aesthetics and a cleaning on the click of a button was introduced to reduce human intervention.

Key Results:

  • Reduced the human intervention by 60% in monitoring and maintaining the vending machines from the mobile app.
  • Ensure zero downtime and better management of inventory of the ingredients.
  • Automated calculation of consumption and One Click invoicing.
